Chinese Checkers is actually not a form of checkers nor did it originate in China. It actually was invented in Germany in 1892 under the name "Stern-Halma" (Star-Square). The name "Chinese checkers" originated in the US in 1928.
This strategy game can be played with 2-6 players. The board is a beautiful two wood design and comes with multi-colored jewel tone marbles, including extra pieces.
